General Overview
Our adventure begins with a four-night immersion retreat where we will live and breathe our yoga in a beautiful local or regional retreat space. Here we will delve into yogic practice, philosophy, teachings, and self-inquiry while immersed in the serenity of nature. The mini-retreat offers the time, space, and energy to set intentions for the journey ahead. More details about this portion are provided below.
Afterward, we will continue to meet on Friday evenings and weekends at peacebank yoga studio and nearby locations such as retreat homes and parks. These ongoing group gatherings will include interactive study sessions, practice teaching opportunities, reflective hikes, and more. Throughout the program, Emily, Faysal, and Jessica will guide you through valuable lessons and experiences that will alter your body, mind, and soul and empower you as an individual and/or as an aspiring yoga teacher. You’ll gain a vast knowledge of yoga, a better understanding of yourself, and valuable friendships in this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Testimonials
“There are just some things in life that are worth going for. This program is one of them. Not only do you exponentially deepen your personal, physical yoga practice (which you do, beyond what you could imagine), you uncover deep truths about yourself, and in this uncovering, are held by a truly supportive, healing community. Moving through this training has been one of the most transformative and electrifying experiences I've ever had. It's true magic."
~ Nick Heinzen, 2019 YTT and current peacebank teacher
“Yoga teacher training through Peacebank with Emily, Faysal, and Jessica was truly amazing! The combination of Emily's deep knowledge of yoga history and her beautiful heart, Faysal's intensity, true caring, passion and commitment to body awareness, healing, and functionality, and Jessica's fantastic alchemic and spiritual component made for a wonderful multi-layered journey. Each teacher comes from a place of true intention on their own life path and brought their wealth of expertise which created a welcome balance between technical aspects, deeper understanding, and personal growth. The process was challenging yet enjoyable, so much that I didn't want it to end! An environment was created of meaningful learning, bonding, support, respect, and enthusiasm, which encouraged each student to bloom in their own way and created deep bonding within the group. I felt after graduation I had gained everything I needed to take my first step towards becoming a yoga teacher with confidence. Loved this experience, I highly recommend the Peacebank yoga teacher training and the wonderful instructors to anyone thinking of getting their teaching certification! Thank you Emily, Faysal and Jessica for this life-changing experience!”
